Musings about living with depression and anxiety
This is great. I’m starting to think that maybe instead of “MI” we should be calling it “Mental Differences” or “Mental Creativity.” Have you ever noticed that the people with diagnosed MI are also some of the most interesting and creative people around?
Great idea, Casey! I think there are a lot of links between “mental differences” and creativity. There have even been scientific studies linking the two.

I totally believe it. Our son (ADHD, PTSD and a host of other acronyms) is one of the most amazing kids I know. When he’s not out of his head (which is often), and able to focus and have a one-on-one conversation, he’s seriously brilliant.
